Service Description
Discover the “weeds” you didn’t know were food & medicine Some call them weeds. Others never notice them at all. We call them food, medicine, and forgotten nourishment. Join us for a gentle, guided wild edible plant walk where you’ll learn to identify common edible and medicinal plants that are likely growing right in your own backyard. These plants are: ✨ Readily available ✨ Highly nutritious ✨ Surprisingly tasty ✨ And completely free During this walk you’ll learn: • How to safely identify common wild edibles • Basic harvesting ethics and sustainability practices • Traditional and modern uses for food and simple home remedies • How to begin building confidence with wild plants This is a slow-paced, relaxed walk and is accessible to all abilities. No prior experience needed — just curiosity and comfortable walking shoes. 📅 Starting February 28 📍 Location: Natural Garden Grows (details sent after registration) ⏱ Length: Approximately 60–90 minutes 💵 Cost: $20 per person 🎒 What to bring: Weather-appropriate clothing, water, and a small notebook (optional) ☕ Warm herbal beverage included — made from a plant we learn about on the walk Come reconnect with the land, awaken your plant awareness, and discover the abundance already growing around you. 🌱 Limited spots available — pre-registration required
