Strawberry Balsamic Glaze

Ingredients 

  • 2 tbsp strawberry jam
     

  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
     

  • 1 tsp olive oil
     

  • Pinch salt
     

  • Crack of black pepper

Instructions

  • Whisk jam and vinegar together until blended
     

  • Add salt & oil 
     

  • Warm gently in a small saucepan until smooth or directly into the pan drippings of chicken 

 Sweet, tangy, and surprisingly elegant

Classic Strawberry Shortcake

Soft biscuits, lightly sweetened cream, jam + fresh berries. This one feels nostalgic and timeless.

Ingredients 

Shortcakes

  • 2 cups flour
     

  • 1 tbsp baking powder
     

  • 2 tbsp sugar
     

  • ½ tsp salt
     

  • ½ cup cold butter, cubed
     

  • ¾ cup milk or cream

Filling

  • ½ cup strawberry jam
     

  • 1 cup fresh sliced strawberries
     

  • Whipped cream

Instructions

  1. Mix dry ingredients. Cut in butter until crumbly.
     

  2. Stir in milk just until combined.
     

  3. Pat out dough or  cut rounds, bake at 400°F (200°C) for 12–15 min.
     

  4. Split warm shortcakes. Layer jam, berries, whipped cream.

Using a Muffin Tin: Method: ​

  1. Lightly grease the tin.
     

  2. Fill each cup about ¾ full.
     

  3. Don’t overpack — just gently press the dough in.
     

  4. Bake:
    400°F (200°C) for 14–18 minutes
    They’ll rise like tender biscuit cups.

  5. They’ll be slightly more structured on the edges (because of the tin contact) and soft in the center. (let cool for 5 mins, before removing)

Strawberry Jam Yogurt Breakfast Parfaits

Ingredients 

Instructions

  • Plain Greek yogurt
     

  • 1–2 tbsp strawberry jam
     

  • Toasted granola
     

  • Fresh strawberries
     

  • Optional: drizzle of honey or maple syrup

  1. Nothing complicated here. Layer yogurt, jam, granola, berries in a glass.

  2. Repeat layers.

  3. Top with fresh sliced strawberries and a sprig of mint
