Strawberry Balsamic Glaze
Ingredients

2 tbsp strawberry jam

1 tbsp balsamic vinegar

1 tsp olive oil

Pinch salt

Crack of black pepper
Instructions

Whisk jam and vinegar together until blended

Add salt & oil
-
Warm gently in a small saucepan until smooth or directly into the pan drippings of chicken

Classic Strawberry Shortcake
Soft biscuits, lightly sweetened cream, jam + fresh berries. This one feels nostalgic and timeless.
Ingredients
Shortcakes

2 cups flour
-
1 tbsp baking powder
-
2 tbsp sugar
-
½ tsp salt
-
½ cup cold butter, cubed

¾ cup milk or cream

Filling

½ cup strawberry jam
-
1 cup fresh sliced strawberries
-
Whipped cream
Instructions

Mix dry ingredients. Cut in butter until crumbly.

Stir in milk just until combined.

Pat out dough or cut rounds, bake at 400°F (200°C) for 12–15 min.

Split warm shortcakes. Layer jam, berries, whipped cream.

Using a Muffin Tin: Method: ​

Lightly grease the tin.

Fill each cup about ¾ full.

Don’t overpack — just gently press the dough in.

Bake:
400°F (200°C) for 14–18 minutes
They’ll rise like tender biscuit cups. -
They’ll be slightly more structured on the edges (because of the tin contact) and soft in the center. (let cool for 5 mins, before removing)

Plain Greek yogurt

1–2 tbsp strawberry jam

Toasted granola
-
Fresh strawberries
-
Optional: drizzle of honey or maple syrup

Nothing complicated here. Layer yogurt, jam, granola, berries in a glass.

Repeat layers.

Top with fresh sliced strawberries and a sprig of mint
