Plant Walk in Your Town
Wild Edible Plant Walks are hitting the road!
Service Description
After hearing from people who wanted Natural Garden Grows plant walks in their own communities, I’m bringing my 90-minute Wild Edible Plant Walks to locations beyond the Comox Valley. Together, we’ll explore the ordinary plants growing all around us and learn how to identify them, along with their edible, medicinal and traditional uses. These walks are beginner-friendly and designed to help you see the familiar plants growing in your own community in an entirely new way. During this walk you’ll learn: • How to safely identify common wild edibles • When and how wild plants can be harvested responsibly • Traditional and modern uses for food and simple home remedies • How to begin building confidence with wild plants This is a slow-paced, relaxed walk and is accessible to all abilities. No prior experience needed — just curiosity and comfortable walking shoes. 90 minutes | $35 per person — pre-registration required
